We present RA-82 mercury analyzer

We present RA-82 mercury analyzer, which is specially designed for field ecological and geochemical surveys: - measuring weight concentration of mercury vapor in ambient air and soil gas, as well as in the indoor air in residential and production areas. - detection and localization of indoor and outdoor mercury pollution. - monitoring the demercurization process. - ore deposits survey using mercury haloes in soil gas. Atomic absorption spectroscopy is employed for measuring weight concentration of mercury, which is implemented using a double-beam optical scheme with analytical and reference cells. To minimize the detection limit, mercury preconcentration on a gold trap is used. The instrument operates in two main modes, DISCRETE and CONTINUOUS. The DISCRETE mode is used for quantitative measuring the mercury concentration from 50 to 99999 ng/m3. The CONTINUOS measurement mode is indicative and is used for rapid detection and localization of mercury contamination sources, mercury concentrations being 500 to 1x106 ng/m3. MORE INFO >>
