Optical Temperature Sensors

Due to their fast response time (as low as <1 second), PyroScience optical temperature sensors are ideal for pairing with optical oxygen sensors for true temperature compensation. They can also be used as standalone sensors for independent temperature measurements. Choose from a variety of fiber-optic and contactless sensor options. Make sure to select all necessary accessories for the contactless sensor options.

  • TPROBSC: robust probe, 4mm diameter, 10cm long, 2m cable, 2 screw cap sensors per package

  • TPR430: retractable fiber mini sensor, 430µm tip diameter, 40mm needle length, 2m cable

  • TPB430: bare fiber mini sensor, 430µm tip diameter, 2m cable

  • TPF1100: fixed mini sensor, 430µm tip diameter (protrudes 2mm), 1.2mm needle diameter, 2m cable

  • TPROBSC-SUB: same as TPROBSC, but with underwater connector -SUB instead of -ST connector

  • TPSP5-ADH: temperature spots, autoclavable, response time (t90 < 1s), self-adhesive

  • TPSP5-ADH-STER: same as TPSP5-ADH, sterilized

  • TPFLOW: temperature flow-through cell, sterilized using 25kGy beta-irradiation, requires SPFIB-BARE

  • TPFTC2: flow-through cell, recommended flow rate: 20-500 mL/min DISCONTINUED

  • TOVIAL20: 20 mL vial with integrated oxygen & temperature sensor, autoclavable

  • SPFIB-BARE: optical fiber, for contactless readout, to measure through 0-2mm thickness, 1m length

  • SPFIB-LNS: optical fiber with lens, to measure through 3-10mm thick materials, 1m length

  • SPADBAS: Basic spot adapter, compatible to SPFIB-BARE, PICFIB2 or PICROD2, SPGLUE for fixation

  • SPFIB-BARE-CL2: same as SPFIB-BARE, 2m length

  • SPFIB-LNS-CL2: same as SPFIB-LNS, 2m length

  • SPFIB: optical fiber, for contactless readout, to measure through 0-2mm thickness, 1m length, ST-connector on both ends

  • SPGLUE: Transparent silicone glue Elastosil E43, (ca. 90 ml), for fixing sensor spots or SPADBAS

  • SPGLUE-KIT: Glueing kit with 1 spoon spatula (SPTLA), disposable syringe with screw cap, Luer-Lock fixture, 5 flat needles

  • SPTLA: 300mm long spatula for handling sensor spots, to position and fix sensor spot during gluing

  • ADVIAL20T: Adapter ring for 20mL vials with up to 3 sensors, compatible to SPFIB-BARE and PICFIB2
